Location: 97 Graham St, Port Melbourne
Client(s): The Graham Hotel
Scope: Design and install refrigeration lines to service new fridges and freezers
Timeline: 2-week installation
Team: Mechanical plumbers, electricians, refrigeration technicians
The Graham Hotel, a 150 year old pub in Melbourne that has lived many different lives, is a staple of the local landscape and destined to stay that way for many years to come. Bringing together modern Australian dining, with traditional pub favourites, it's a popular hang out for people of all ages in the area. With a full refurbishment underway, a key part of this project was upgrading refrigeration systems for the bar and kitchen to ensure smooth operations and continuity of service.
Highlighting just how specialised these multidisciplinary projects can be, we were contracted late in the game, as the incumbent mechanical services contractor wasn't able to complete the requirements.
Given our late start, our major challenge was the 2-week window we were given to both design and install remote refrigeration lines, which could have been made significantly more difficult given our part relied on other suppliers to come through first.
The Graham Hotel team selected us for our proven expertise in refrigeration and our ability to meet tight timelines. Our reputation for always delivering high-quality outcomes, our multidisciplinary capacity and our focus on clear communication and strong relationships made us the perfect partner for this critical part of the refurbishment.
We approached this project with a mind for doing what we do best; meeting a tight deadline without ever compromising on quality:
